Lawn Mowing Service

 March 31st - December 1st
$60*
One-Time Single Mowing
$60 Minimum | Single mowing service

This Service provides a no commitment option for those who normally maintain their own lawn, but may have experienced a breakdown, or for those who are undecided about hiring a professional lawn care service.

weekly
Weekly Rate
$45 Minimum |  Most popular service!

A routine mowing service performed every 7 days, maintained at a height of 3"-3.5", while never cutting more than 1/3 of the overall blade length is recommended to promote a healthy lawn and prevent weed growth.

bi-weekly
Bi-Weekly Rate
 Requires more time & fuel

We urge all customers to first consider our weekly service for the benefits to the lawn. Allowing for turf grass to become overgrown can potentially damage the lawn, and allow for weeds to germinate easier.

Prices vary depending on frequency of visits, and length of the desired contract term.

Contour Shaping

Hedges must be properly pruned in order to maintain their health. Neglect, improper timing, or poor technique can result in an unappealing appearance or loss of the plant. Flowering shrubs may not bloom at all if not pruned properly.

Rejuvenation Pruning

Every 2-3 years deciduous shrubs or bushes should be cut back approximately 10"-12" above ground level. This method promotes new growth, and in most cases can help reinvigorate the health of a declining shrub.

Natural Mulch

One of the most beneficial reasons to apply mulch to flower beds and gardens is to help retain moisture within the soil. Natural bark mulch decomposes over time and helps contribute to soil health.

mulch enviro icon

Enviro Colored

Colorized, or dyed mulch provides some of the same benefits as natural mulch, but because there is no bark in enviro mulches, they tend not to decompose as quickly as natural bark mulches.

Core/Plug

Soil aeration is commonly overlooked when attempting to restore a lawn, but is a vital step to bring it back to health. Aeration improves drainage, fertilizer uptake, oxygen levels within the soil, and also helps prevent soil compaction. All of these benefits help ensure the roots will grow deep into the soil and produce a stronger, more vibrant lawn.

Dead grass, or thatch is beneficial in the same way that mulch is good for your plants. A thatch layer that exceeds 1" thick can actually prevent water absorption and should be reduced.

After receiving a de-thatching service the roots of your lawn will be more exposed to sunlight and oxygen.

This service is best accompanied by an aeration service at the same time, however, having an aeration service done once a year can eliminate the chances of ever needing to have your lawn de-thached in the first place.

Once in Spring and once in Fall our crew will remove leaves, branches, and other debris from existing mulch beds, non mulched beds, garden areas, and ground-cover. Afterwards, the lawn is given a mowing and all debris is collected with the mower.

Service Options

Spring Clean-Up

Spring Clean-Up

Springtime is the most important time to clean up your lawn. After the snow has melted there may be remaining leaf material, or fallen branches laying across your yard. Leaving this material on the lawn could lead to a mold issue (snow mold), or cause the lawn to die completely. After removing this material we recommend the Core Aeration Service, if not already done in fall. This allows oxygen into the soil which helps decrease the risk of fungi or mold developing.

Fall Clean-Up

Fall Clean-Up

When a Fall Clean up is done, there is very little work to do come spring-time! Different trees drop their leaves at different rates, but the bulk of leaves should be managed before first snowfall. Our crews begin the fall clean-up by blowing and sweeping all debris away from the house and landscape beds. Once finished, we use a lawn mower with a collection unit to pick up all the waste. To complete the service, we mow the lawn once more before winter snowfall.

Using your lawn area with friends and family, or just being able to look outside and see your landscaped property free and clear of any debris can provide property owners with a huge relief from stress. Knowing our customers reaction to their yard being cleaned, and the wow factor involved this has become our favorite service to perform on a customers yard.

A driveway full of snow when preparing to leave for work can be extremely frustrating, especially when you realize the city plow just buried and created a wall of snow at the end of your driveway.

Shoveling can also be dangerous and possibly result in an injury, and with our plow trucks being deployed at all hours of the night, or day, you can avoid this situation by hiring us for our plowing service this winter.
